Bihar Floods: 8 Died in Lightning, Bihar CM Announces Compensation
- Bihar CMO informed that around 8 people died due to being struck by lightning.
- Three people died each died in Sheikhpura and Jamui, and Siwan and Begusarai districts recorded one death each.
- CM Nitish Kumar announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased.
- He also requested people to follow the order of the authorities and remain in their homes.
- Around 38,47,531 people have been affected because of the Bihar floods.
