On Sunday, Delhi Police filed a charge-sheet against 6 accused in the murder of the 85-year old Akbari Begum during the Delhi Riots.
During the Delhi Riots, a mob of rioters attacked Akbari Begum's neighborhood in Delhi's Bhajanpura area.
These rioters set her house on fire, while her family members managed to escape the fire she couldn't due to her age.
Her body was recovered from the 2nd floor of her house by the fire dept and police after they reached the spot.
After this Begum's son lodged an FIR and police arrested Arun Kumar, Varun Kumar, Vishal Singh, Ravi Kumar, Prakash Chand, and Suraj.
