20 KG IED in Car, J&K's Security Forces Halts Pulwama-Like Attack
- The security forces prevented 2019-like bombing in J&K's Pulwama after they stopped a vehicle carrying over 20 KG IED.
- Inspector General Vijay Kumar said, "We got intelligence about a possible attack. We were looking for a vehicle with IED since yesterday."
- "The security forces opened fire. The driver managed to escape, leaving behind the car laden with IED," he added.
- Later the bomb squad destroyed the car along with the IED due to this the massive explosion caused damage to several houses in the area.
- This attack was quite similar to the 2019 Pulwama attack where over 40 soldiers were martyred after a suicide bomber rammed his explosives ridden car into a CRPF convoy.
