Train From Dimapur Carrying 1600 Migrants Leave for Bihar

A train from Dimapur left with 1600 migrants from Bihar for Motihari in East Champaran district.
The train departed from the Dimapur railway station at 9 pm on Saturday.
The officials said that most of those on that train are auto-rickshaw drivers.
15 buses from Kohima district ferried 339 migrant workers to the Dimapur District Sports Complex, while 5 buses from Mokokchung district reached there with 158 workers.
Before boarding, the train thermal screening of the passengers was done and the migrants were also provided food packets and water bottles.
