Gujarat Health director arrested over dubious purchase of Covid-19 kits

Vigilance and Anti Corruption Burea, arrested the director of the Health Department, AK Gupta after an audio clip went viral about a dubious purchase of protective equipment.
AK Gupta was arrested on Thursday at three in the morning. ACS Health RD Dhiman took charge of the investigation of the case late Wednesday.
Vigilance arrested Dr. Gupta for not cooperating with the investigation during the interrogation in the viral audio case.
Along with this, he also cited amnesia in remembering the last few incidents amid investigation
Vigilance's team also raided the health directorate and took important documents.
Gupta has been arrested 10 days before retirement
