
Coronavirus Outbreak: Uttrakhand CM Seeks PM's Approval to Restart Tourism
- Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat asked permission to restart tourism activities in non-infected green zones regions of the Himalayan state.
- He also said that the state has suffered heavy financial losses because of the nationwide lockdown due to coronavirus.
- The CM asked the Centre’s approval to reopen residential schools and resume economic activities under MGNREGA.
- He further informed the PM that about 500 doctors and other medical workers are deployed to fight the Coronavirus.
- CM Trivendra Singh Rawat thanked PM Modi for his timely action against coronavirus which reduced the numbers of patients in the nation.
