Rajnath Singh Inaugurates Strategically Crucial Road in Uttarakhand

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has open an 80-km strategically crucial road which connects the Lipulekh pass at a height of 17,000 feet along the border with China in Uttarakhand.
He said that the pilgrims going to Kailash Mansarovar will now be able to complete their journey in one week.
The new road will help pilgrims who will visit Kailash Mansarovar in Tibet as it is around 90 km from the Lipulekh pass.
Rajnath Singh also expressed his confidence that the local trade and economic growth in the region will increase with this new road.
The road will also help the speedy movement of military troops in the strategically key region bordering Tibet.
