
Mamata Govt Slams Centre For Making the Wrong List Of State's Red Zones
- Mamata Banerjee govt has objected to the Centre's list of Red Zones.
- The state govt has sent another list to the Centre saying that this list reflects the "correct" classification of districts into Red, Orange, and Green Zones.
- In this view, WB Health Secretary, Vivek Kumar has written to the Union Health Secretary.
- In the letter, Vivek Kumar said that the Cabinet secretary has made the wrong presentation during a video conference on April 30.
- He further added that there are 4 districts in WB that are Red Zone: Kolkata, Howrah, North-24 Paraganas, and Purba Medinipur.
