- Ghosh said, "Dead bodies are being secretly burnt by police at night in different areas over the last several days."
- "This has also triggered protests by local people who are understandably scared", he further added.
- Ghosh said that the govt's decision to give 5 kg ice and 5 kg pulses in a month for every family was inadequate.
