
WB Govt Allows Online E-Registration Of Properties Amid Lockdown
- In the view of lockdown and social distancing, West Bengal has decided to allow online registration of properties.
- This was announced by the State Chief Secretary, Rajiva Sinha.
- Also, registration charges include a 20 percent discount to encourage online registrations.
- Let us tell you, West Bengal is the first state to allow e-registration of title deeds.
- According to Rajiva Sinha, people will have to submit or e-mail scanned documents and “property deeds” to the finance department and accordingly they will be cleared on a case-to-case basis.
