
Coronavirus Outbreak: 692 Jail Inmates Have Been Granted Bill in Rajasthan
- Ashok Jain who is member secretary of Rajasthan state legal service authority said that 492 jail inmates have been granted bill and 146 persons have been released on parole.
- There are 1,881 jail inmates have been filed an application in court but 921 applications got rejected and the rest applications are pending.
- Supre Court also issued an order to all states to form a committee to take a call on jail inmates under the leadership of the chairman of state legal service authority.
- The state government also conducted a screening of jail inmates and also asked them about their travel history.
- The jail authorities also made two wards for treating coronavirus patients.
