People In West Bengal Block State Highway Amid Lockdown
- Hundreds of people in West Bengal blocked a state highway for three hours today.
- The people were from the Domkal municipality area of Murshidabad district.
- The protesters alleged that they did not get food in 20 days.
- Earlier, CM Mamata Banerjee has claimed that there was no shortage of food in Bengal.
- Among the people, were many women and children who blocked the Berhampore–Domkal state highway. Most of the agitators were not wearing masks which violates the lockdown rule.
