J&K reported the second Covid-19 death and three new cases taking the total number of positive cases in J&K to 41.
A 67-year-old man, hailing from Tangmarg area of Baramulla district, died at Srinagar’s Chest Disease Hospital on Sunday morning.
The J&K administration is yet to come clear on whether community transmission has started in Kashmir.
So far, 5,763 travelers and people in contact with suspected cases have been put under surveillance.
Of 38 positive patients, 29 are admitted in Kashmir hospitals and nine across Jammu.
