FM Nirmala Sitharaman announced a full economic package to deal with the impact of COVID-19.
Addressing a press conference she said govt has come out with a package that will help the disadvantaged section of the society.
Sitharaman said, "We don’t want anyone to remain hungry or without money. So we will be giving enough."
She announced Rs 1,70,000 Crore relief package for urban and rural poor.
For doctors, nurses and ASHA workers the FM announced that they will be given an insurance cover of Rs 50 lakh per person.
