Kerala Government to provide free ration in wake of Coronavirus pandemic
- The Kerala Government decided to give free ration in the time of coronavirus pandemic.
- Below poverty line cardholders will be provided an additional 35 kg of rice free next month.
- While those holding non-priority cards would get up to 15 kg of rice free.
- The government would also provide free provision kits to those under home quarantine, irrespective of their income status.
- The kit would comprise rice, wheat, sugar, salt, edible oil, pulses and spices necessary for a week or month.
