Kerala Government to provide free ration in wake of Coronavirus pandemic

The Kerala Government decided to give free ration in the time of coronavirus pandemic.
Below poverty line cardholders will be provided an additional 35 kg of rice free next month.
While those holding non-priority cards would get up to 15 kg of rice free.
The government would also provide free provision kits to those under home quarantine, irrespective of their income status.
The kit would comprise rice, wheat, sugar, salt, edible oil, pulses and spices necessary for a week or month.
