Stay At Home: Uddhav Thackeray's Appeal To Public
- Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray appealed to the public to stay at home.
- He assured them that shops selling essential commodities and vegetables would remain open during the mandatory lockdown period of 21 days, imposed to curb the spread of Covid-19.
- Thackeray told viewers stories of how families have come together to play, sing and dine while under lockdown.
- "I have received messages saying families are playing cards and carom together. They are spending time with each other."
- "This is a positive sign. At home, I am listening to Mrs. Chief Minister. You also listen to your Home Minister," he said in a lighter vein.
