Coronavirus Outbreak: Gujarat Records First Death
- On Sunday, a 69-year old man from Surat became the first victim to coronavirus disease.
- On Sunday, Nitin Patel who is the state health minister of Gujarat announced 5 more positive cases of coronavirus and the total cases are 18.
- He also mentioned that 65-year old women from Vadodra got admitted with symptoms of coronavirus died at the hospital.
- The health minister also said, 650 persons from Ahmedabad are under quarantine, 590 persons in Surat and 223 in Gandhinagar.
- CM Vijay Rupani has already announced the lockdown and except for essential services, all shops will be closed.
