Efforts to Fight COVID-19 Severely Impacted: Iran President Writes to PM Modi

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, wrote to many world leaders, including PM Modi, over how the efforts to fight COVID-19 has been "severely" impacted by the US sanctions.
He wrote, "This virus knows no boundary and claims, victims, without political, religious, ethnic, and racial considerations."
He also called the act of continued US sanctions when the world is fighting the coronavirus pandemic, as "immoral".
Rouhani tweeted, "It is IMMORAL to let a bully kill innocents. Viruses recognize no politics or geography. Nor should we."
In his letter he emphasized that the fight against the COVID-19 requires coordinated regional and international measures, adopting serious strategies, and sustaining huge medical and care costs.
