CM Kamal Nath wrote a letter to HM Amit Shah demanding the rescue of the 22 MP MLAs.
In the letter, he wrote that the MLAs are demanding CRPF protection.
He also said that as CM of the state it was his duty to ask for adequate security for the MLAs.
Nath said that if MLAs are rescued then he will ensure that they are provided security so that they can meet the MP assembly speaker without any hesitation.
Earlier the MLAs who resigned from the party in support of Scindia sent a letter to MP governor Lalji Tandon and demanded security.
