Despite Coronavirus threat: Shaheen Bagh protest is still on
- Despite health advisories, Shaheen Bagh protestors said, they will continue the protest while taking healthy precautions.
- This comes on a day when Deputy CM Manish Sisodia ban IPL and other Sports events and issued an order to shut schools, colleges, and cinema halls.
- Qazi Emad, Media coordinator of Shaheen Bagh protest said, We respect the ban at cinema halls, IPL but those are a form of entertainment whereas our agitation is for our survival.
- To protest against CAA, NRC, and NPR, hundreds of protestors have been sitting for over 3 months and refused to vacate the space till CAA is repealed.
- The organizers said they are carrying out awareness programs to educate the protestors.
