
Over 6000 Indians Stranded in Coronavirus Hit Iran: MEA
- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that over 6000 Indians are stranded in different provinces of Iran.
- He said, "There are over 6,000 Indian nationals in various provinces of Iran. These include about 1,100 pilgrims mainly from Ladakh and J&K and Maharashtra."
- He also said that around 300 students from J&K and around 1000 fishermen, including from Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat are also stranded there.
- The minister said that GoI received 529 samples from Iran and so far, 299 of them have tested negative.
- Let us tell you that till now 73 cases of Coronavirus have been reported in India with 13 fresh cases.
