Congress leader Shashi Tharoor termed the decision to give responsibility to Sonia Gandhi as correct to revive the Congress party.
He ruled out the possibility of non-Gandhi becoming party president and said that the party would make a comeback.
Tharoor said, We have strong govts in states like Rajasthan, Punjab, and MP, which reinstate that we can take power at the center.
Regarding the alliance between the regional parties, he said, the party has changed its behavior, that is why there is an alliance in Maharashtra and Jharkhand.
Calling Sonia Gandhi a temporary solution, he said, Rahul Gandhi will definitely change his mind and will once again take charge of the party.
