Hardik Patel missing for 40 days, Supreme Court stays arrest

  • The Congress and Patidar leader of Gujarat, Hardik Patel, got a big relief from the Supreme Court.
  • The arrest of Hardik Patel, who has been missing for 40 days, has been stayed by the Supreme Court till 6 March.
  • The court has also sent a notice to the Gujarat government on the petition of the Patidar leader, seeked a reply before 6 March.
  • A non-bailable warrant was issued against Hardik Patel in connection with the violence during the 2005 Patidar agitation.
  • Earlier, Hardik's wife Kinjal tweeted that, 'Gujarat's dictatorial BJP government has filed false cases against farmer and youth agitator Hardik Patel.'
