
Maharashtra Has Withdrawn 348 Out Of 649 Koregaon Cases: Deshmukh
- State home minister Anil Deshmukh said that the MVA govt had withdrawn 348 cases out of a total of 649 filed in connection with the Koregaon Bhima violence.
- He said that the other cases were in the process.
- Deshmukh clarified that only those cases which involved attacks on the police and damage to property would not be withdrawn.
- The govt has also promised to withdraw cases filed in connection with various protests such as the Maratha reservation agitation, and many more.
- Deshmukh specified that the state has the right to conduct an inquiry if the investigation has been carried out in the wrong manner.
