Kanhaiya Kumar in his 'Save Constitution, Save Citizenship' accused the Modi government of doing 'business of hate'.
CPI leader Kanhaiya Kumar said, "After independence in 1947, now the country needs freedom from rioters".
Various parties and social workers participated in this Maharali organized against the Citizenship Amendment Act.
Kanhaiya Kumar started the speech by keeping a two-minute silence for those killed in the Delhi violence, singing 'Hum Dekhenge' by Faiz Ahmed Faiz.
He said that he is not against giving citizenship to anyone but against the 'vocation of hate in the name of citizenship'.
