In Mumbai, people gathered on the Marine Drive to protest against the CAA violence in Delhi.
Many people were thrashed and taken into custody by the Mumbai police.
DCP of Zone 1 Sangram Singh said that Azad Maidan is a scheduled venue to perform in Mumbai.
He further added that when the people going to the Gateway of India were stopped, they started marching towards the Marine Drive.
On Monday, two groups clashed in Delhi's Maujpur-Babarpur area, during which stones were pelted from both sides, leading to the death of 5 people.
