As Bhim Army Prep-Up for Bharat Bandh, Security Tightened-Up in UP and Bihar
- Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad informed via a tweet that Bhim Army is preparing for Bharat Bandh on Feb 23rd.
- Chandrashekhar has also appealed to the opposition parties and sought support, saying - no tampering with a reservation will be tolerated.
- He asked the party workers for a peaceful protest, Chandrashekhar said, BJP people will provoke you but don't let them get into your heads.
- In view of the bandh, there is a high alert in Bihar, special attention is given to the western part of Uttar Pradesh because last time there was violence.
- Recently, the Supreme Court had said that the state is not bound to give quota in government jobs and promotions, after which the opposition united.
