Karnataka To Appoint New State Congress Chief

Deliberations are on in the Congress for the appointment of new state unit presidents in Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.
According to the party sources, the names will be out soon.
In Karnataka, the party has zeroed in on senior state leaders HK Patil and DK Shivakumar.
The sources said former CM Siddaramiah is backing Patil though the party wants Shivakumar.
Also, Dinesh Gundu Rao is acting as the state Congress chief without any executive.
