Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala defended the state govt's management of natural calamities.
In his address to the joint sitting of the legislature, he listed out the initiatives of the govt in attracting investments.
The address highlighted that approval has been given to reservation of women in 25 % of posts in police recruitment.
Leader of the Opposition, Siddaramaiah, in his reaction, slammed the govt by accusing it of conveying "false information" through the Governor's speech.
"Adequate relief measures have still not been taken even after six months since the floods that took place", Siddaramaiah tweeted.
