J&K Govt Extends the Internet Services Ban In the State

The ban on high-speed 3G, 4G Internet services has been extended till February 24 in J&K.
According to the J&K govt notice, 2G Internet services will remain working with 1400+ whitelist websites.
The notice also directed people with internet access not to misuse it for uploading "provocative material inimical to the interest of the state".
Let us tell you, on January 24, 2G mobile internet services on postpaid as well as prepaid phones were restored.
Also, the telecom services were snapped in the erstwhile state of J&K on August 5 when the Centre abrogated Article 370.
