The Yogi government has decided to put a stop to the ambitious Yash Bharti award started by Akhilesh Yadav.
In the meeting of Tourism Minister Neelkanth Tiwari, the State Culture Award Scheme got aprproval in place of Yash Bharti.
In this plan, some new areas will be included and some old areas will be excluded, along with prize money has also been increased.
6 lakh will be given in the name of Vajpayee and 2-2 lakh will be given under 23 awards in the name of other personalities.
The Yogi government, accused of distributing the reward like sweet and had also stopped pension of awardees.
