- The police questioned the father-son duo in front of Kapil as he was not giving clear answers on where he acquired the weapon from.
- In his initial statement, he had said that he was annoyed at protesters because the road closed by them caused long traffic jams.
- The crime branch is trying to trace a second phone owned by Kapil Gujjar.
