
CM Pinarayi Vijayan Seeks Compensation from Nepal Govt for Death of 8 Tourist
- Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan requested the Centre to persuade Nepal to compensate for the deaths of eight tourists from the state at a resort in Nepal’s Daman.
- In a letter to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, he wrote that the Centre should ask the Nepal govt for a detailed investigation of the deaths.
- Pinarayi Vijayan had earlier visited the house of deceased Praveen's family and spoke to his parents, Krishnan Nair and Prasanna.
- Praveen was working in UAE and was on a short vacation with his family and friends.
