The 24*7 initiative implemented by Shiv Sena Youth President Aaditya Thackeray was a complete flop on the very first day.
Not even a single restaurant or outlet remained opened for 24 hours.
The initiative was to make shops, multiplexes, malls, and restaurants open the whole night in the non-residential areas of Mumbai.
According to the rule, alcohol will not be allowed to be served in pubs and night clubs after 1.30 am.
But, in the first phase, shops, eateries, and theaters in malls and mill compound situated in non-residential areas were to be allowed to remain open 24 hours.
