
Suspended DSP Davinder Singh, four others sent to 15-day NIA custody
- A Special NIA Court has sent the arrested DSP Davinder Singh, who was held with two militants in Kashmir, and four co-accused to 15-day NIA remand.
- The court has directed the investigating officer of the NIA to arrange the medical examination of the accused persons after every 48 hours during the remand period.
- On Thursday, the accused were brought to the special court in bullet-proof vehicles with their faces covered.
- The NIA also raided at least two locations in Srinagar in connection with the arrests, on Wednesday.
- On January 11, Police had arrested Devinder Singh, Hizbul Mujahideen commander Syed Naveed Mushtaq and his associates when they were travelling to Jammu.
