Salman Khurshid Lends Support to Kapil Sibal Over CAA Remark
- Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal said on Saturday that states' refusal to implement CAA is unconstitutional.
- Clarifying his statement, he says, if the Supreme Court declares it constitutional then it will be difficult to protest.
- Sibal's statement is against the party's stand since Congress has already described it as unconstitutional which divides based on religion.
- Lending Sibal support Salman Khurshid said, "If the SC does not interfere, it will remain in the book of the law."
- Salman Khurshid further said, if something stays in the book of the law, then you will have to follow or else there will be serious consequences.
