Uddhav Thackeray To Decide on Mumbai-Pune Hyperloop Project

Virgin Atlantic founder and British billionaire Richard Branson met Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray to clear “misunderstandings” over the $10 billion Mumbai-Pune hyperloop project.
Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray told Richard Branson that he would study the Mumbai-Pune ultrafast Hyperloop transport project and take further decisions.
The meeting between the two took place at "Matoshree' the Thackeray family residence in suburban Bandra.

According to senior officials, Richard Branson sought the chief minister's co-operation for the project.
At an event, Richard Branson informed the entire cost of the project will be borne by the private sector and it will not depend on any funding from the state.
