Ramesh Jarkiholi Name Emerges for the Post of Dy-CM
- BJP won the Karnataka bypolls with 11 out of 13 disqualified candidates winning their respective seats.
- With this BS Yediyurappa's cabinet is set to see a strong majority from the two districts of Belagavi and Bengaluru Urban.
- This means there can be two more deputy CMs — Gokak MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi (ST) and KS Eshwarappa (Kuruba).

- The 34 member cabinet is set to get additions from each of the two districts.
- As per the results, the leaders who would join the cabinet are K Gopalaiah, ST Somashekar and Byrathi Basavaraju, Shrimant Patil, Ramesh Jarkiholi and Mahesh Kumatalli.
