SC lifts construction ban in Delhi-NCR, allows it during day time
- SC's decision is giving a major relief to the construction sector in Delhi.
- SC has relaxed its ban on construction in the national capital region and allowed such activities in the day time from 6am to 6pm.
- The decision will help dozens of government and private projects to restart and restore employment to hundreds of casual workers.
- The ban on construction work during night will continue till further orders.
- A bench of Justices Arun Mishra and Deepak Gupta modified its earlier order, which said construction could be allowed in day time.
