
Hardik seeks HC permission to enter Mehsana
- The Congress party leader Hardik Patel on Monday approached the Gujarat high court.
- He is seeking for temporary relaxation in his bail condition by permitting him to enter Mehsana district between December 15 and 24.
- Patel’s advocate submitted before the court that he is required to attend the Umiya Mata temple during a ritual and for this purpose, the court may relax his bail condition.
- The state government informed the court that it needs to obtain the opinion of police as to whether Patel’s entry can jeopardize the law and order situation in Mehsana district.
- The HC asked the concerned officer to remain present in court on Tuesday.
