NRC and CAB Two Sides of Same Coin: Mamata Banerjee

On Friday, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said that NRC and the CAB are two sides of the same coin and the TMC will oppose it till the end.
While speaking at a party program, Banerjee said the NRC and the CAB were being taken up by the Centre to divert the attention of the people from the economic slowdown.
She said, "If you give citizenship to all the communities, we will accept it. But if you discriminate on the basis of religion, we will oppose it and also fight against it."

Earlier Home Minister Amit Shah stated that the government is planning to implement the NRC across the country.
Let us tell you that CAB was given clearance from the parliamentary committee and will be tabled in Lok Sabha on 9th Dec.
