PM Modi Pays Tribute to Dr. Ambedkar on his Death Anniversary
- President Ram Nath Kovind and PM Modi paid floral tribute to Dr. BR Ambedkar on his 63rd death anniversary at the Parliament.
- Former PM Manmohan Singh, VP Venkaiah Naidu, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, NCP chief Sharad Pawar were also present there.
- PM Modi tweeted: "Ambedkar ji gave a unique gift to the country in the form of the Constitution, which is the cornerstone of our democracy. A grateful nation will always be indebted to him."

- While the VP tweeted that Dr. Ambedkar was a champion of democracy, a staunch patriot, a nationalist who cared about the downtrodden.
- He further said, "the tributes we pay him today will be meaningful only if we follow his ideals and uphold the values and ethics he propounded, in public life.
