Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress Challenge Closing of Corruption Cases Against Ajit Pawar
- The Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress has challenged the closing of 9 corruption cases against Ajit Pawar related to irrigation scam in the supreme court.
- The parties have also asked the SC to call for a trust vote within 24 hours and stop the government from taking any policy decision.
- Following which the SC today ordered Devendra Fadnavis to prove the majority within 24 hours or by tomorrow.

- Yesterday, the ACB released Ajit Pawar of all the charges in 9 irrigations scams.
- This decision was taken 48 hours after Ajit Pawar took over as the Deputy CM of Maharashtra.
