Straight fight today for MMC chairperson’s post
- The Margao municipal council is all set for a straight fight for the chairperson’s post on Friday.
- Pooja Naik, who has been backed by the Goa Forward Party, is crossing swords with Doris Texeira, who has been backed by Margao legislator Digambar Kamat, for the post.
- Texeira filed two sets of nomination papers before chief officer Siddhivinayak Naik on the last day of nomination.
