We Don't Want Any Company to Shut Their Operations: Nirmala Sitharaman
- On Friday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman eased the concerns of mounting stress on the country's telecom sector.
- She said that the government was determined to ensure that no company shuts operations because of financial unsustainability.
- While addressing the media she said, "We want no company to shut their operations. We want everyone to flourish."

- Earlier the SC rejected an appeal against the govt's definition of adjusted gross revenue and allowed the DoT to recover their dues from the telecom company.
Then two days ago DoT issued a notice to telecom companies asking them to pay up within three months as directed by SC.
