Cold war between state govt. and RTC workers on another level
The confrontation fight between the state govt. and RTC workers upgraded to another level with both sides hardening their stands.
The govt. has warned the workers with the privatisation of all the 10,000 old routes of the TSRTC if the striking workers didn’t rejoin their duty by November 5, midnight.
While, TSRTC union is continuing their strike with the abrogation of the KCR’s offer.
Earlier, in a high-level cabinet meeting headed by KCR all strike related issue were discussed including that of privatising 5,100 routes.
The meeting also discussed the ongoing case on RTC strike in the HC and the government’s approach in the case, examined the relevant labour laws and the Central Motor Vehicle Act.
