- Chennithala stated that CPM leader and former Kunnur district secretary P Jayarajan is an ‘agent of death’ and CPM party as a bloodthirsty political party.
- With this statement, the congress leader was referring to the cruel murder of the Muslim League worker named Ishaq in Tanur.
- The opposition leader had also given a statement in the house that there are allegations on the CPM leader P Jayarajan that the murder was commited after the accused had met the leader.
- Also, CM Pinarayi Vijayan had said, “Three persons have been taken into custody in the murder and three others have been identified.”
