TMC MP Nusrat Jahan to fulfil Abhijit's wish of hilsa fish
- If India’s newest Nobel awardee gets to relish his favourite hilsa at his Kolkata home, much of the credit will go to TMC MP Nusrat Jahan.
- The Basirhat MP expressed her desire to gift a hilsa from her Lok Sabha constituency to Banerjee family.
- “I got to know about Abhijit Banerjee’s wish to have hilsa while at home in Kolkata,” said the actor-MP.
- “It’s a bit embarrassing, but I am thankful to the MP. I am yet to finalise the menu,” Abhijit mother said.
- Family sources said Abhijit is likely to reach Kolkata on an evening flight on Tuesday.
