Reminded Me of Dark era of the Emergency: WB Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar has claimed he was sidelined at a Durga puja event on October 11 at Red Road in Kolkata.
He said the treatment meted out to him reminded him of the "dark era of the Emergency".
Dhankar said he was made to sit in a wing, adjacent to the main central podium where CM Mamata Banerjee sat and watched the program.

However, what really surprised him was the deafening silence on the part of media on such a treatment meted out to a political executive.
Calling this to be a case of intolerance he said people of WB, who are warm, hospitable must have been outraged by this show of lack of respect and outrageous insult.
