The Orthodox Church on Monday distanced itself from supporting any political party during the polls.
Church spokesperson Fr. Johns Abraham said that if anyone has spoken in support of any political party, it was their personal opinion.
“The church has not called to support any political party,” Fr. Johns clarified.

Johns said that members of the Church have realised who had troubled them in connection with the church dispute case.
He further added that the Church’s stance in this regard is aired by its leaders or spokesperson.
